Karen welcomes students of any age and loves teaching beginners. She uses games as the basis of lessons and her goal is to make learning fun!

Karen believes it is essential to include every aspect of flute playing right from the start and incorporates this in her comprehensive flute book series The Young Flute Player. These method and ensemble books have a clear layout, easy-to-read notation, YouTube recordings of pieces, and the progressive units introduce new material gradually. Karen is excited to be working on some further books in this collection, due for release next year.
