Mitten Memory Match
Mitten Memory Match is a lovely, cozy game to play when the weather turns chilly outside. This game includes all the notes tuaght in the Blocki Flute Method Book 1.
To prepare, simply print one set of mittens with the note names on the reverse. Print a second set of mittens with the staff notes on the reverse. To save on ink, only print the notes you would like your students to work on. If you like, laminate the cards for durability.
To play, lay all the cards face down on a table. Each player takes turns turning over two cards. If they match (a letter B and a staff note B, for example) then that player gets to keep those cards. If they don't match, turn the cards back over and allow the next player to have a go. Continue until all the pairs have been found. The player with the most pairs wins!
