Miss Elizabeth loves teaching children as young as age 4 using a playful and exploratory approach to learning. Why exploratory? Because different things work for different students! She draws on her years of teaching experience, training in both the Suzuki and KinderFlute methods, inspiration from her FlutePlay colleagues, and the imagination of her students to create lesson plans that keep her students engaged in the learning process. Her youngest students start out on Toot flutes and eventually graduate to mini metal flutes that she rents out. She deeply cherishes each and every student relationship (and has even been known to shed a few tears when students move away)!
